“Somebody Kissed Me” (Fawn)…..recorded Morgan Studios London 1979, produced by Tom McGuinness and Lou Stonebridge.
Vocals and piano- Charlie, lead guitar- Andy Smith (ex-Battersea), guitar- Tom McGuinness, bass- Paul Karas, drums- Roy Morgan.
This was the track which secured Charlie’s record deal with Peter Meisel at Hansa Productions.
During a night at The Vortex Club, Wardour St London, a girl emerged from the crowd, kissed Charlie full on the lips and then disappeared back into the melee of pogo-dancing punks…………..

Guys, I’m listening to Graffiti as I type this and the shivers are running down my spine….
Recorded in that tiny but fab-sounding studio on the 4th floor of the publishing company…engineered by a mad French dude in silk pantaloons if I remember correctly- what was his name?
